Job summary

Aspire Indiana Health is seeking a Food Services Supervisor to oversee multi-site food service operations, balancing administration with hands-on support. Lead scheduling, inventory, and meal preparation while ensuring meals meet high-quality and cost-efficiency standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating staff, maintaining safety and sanitation, managing vendor orders, and collaborating with the Food Services Manager on menus and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• ServSafe certificate or equivalent in food safety required.
• FMC/FMP designation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate schedules for all staff and volunteers.
• Oversee cooks, servers, volunteers, and kitchen staff to maintain efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with health and food safety standards (Indiana DOH & local codes).
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas and washing up areas.
• Track ingredient usage, inventory, and orders with vendors to control costs.
• Monitor food storage practices to limit spoilage and waste.
• Work with Food Services Manager to plan menus and meals.
• Ensure maintenance of food service equipment.
