KinderCare Learning Companies seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician to keep our centers safe, functional, and welcoming. You will perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems across multiple sites, inspect playgrounds, and support renovations with CMMS.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, playgrounds, roofing, etc. in a multi‑unit environment.
• Ability to diagnose equipment malfunctions and understand preventive maintenance.
• Ability to operate a company vehicle per policy.
• Strong time management and professional communication skills.
• Ability to read maintenance manuals, drawings, and specs.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems, including minor plumbing tasks.
• Conduct safety and security inspections of playgrounds and property.
• Assist with renovations and new construction inspections and identify capital replacement needs.
• Engage with center staff to promote best practices in facility maintenance.
• Coordinate with local vendors for complex repairs and monitor performance.
• Create and update work orders and track status using CMMS.
