Job summary

KinderCare Education LLC is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to ensure safe, functional, and welcoming centers across our network. You will perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, collaborating with staff to promote best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, playgrounds, roofing in a multi-unit environment.
• Ability to diagnose and repair equipment; preventive maintenance knowledge.
• Must be able to operate a company vehicle after MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct regular preventative maintenance at assigned centers, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Conduct safety and security inspections of playgrounds and property.
• Assist with renovations inspections and identify capital replacement projects.
• Engage with center staff to promote maintenance best practices.
• Coordinate with vendors for complex repairs and monitor performance.
• Manage materials, update work orders, and provide status updates using CMMS.
