Great Lakes Auto Group in Columbus, OH is seeking a dependable Facilities Repairman to keep our dealership facilities running smoothly and looking their best. This hands-on role covers electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks with pride in workmanship.

You will travel between sites, respond to after-hours calls, coordinate with outside contractors, and maintain safe, organized work areas. A valid driver's license and reliable attendance are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance or facilities repair.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• Able to read and follow technical manuals and schematics.
• Must travel between sites and respond to after-hours calls.
• Comfortable using basic computer and mobile applications.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs; work indoors/outdoors.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to follow direction.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and plumbing.
• Install, troubleshoot, and replace lighting fixtures, switches and outlets.
• Assist with carpentry, drywall repair, and painting.
• Assemble, move, and install furniture and fixtures.
• Mount and secure TVs, signage, shelving, and wall fixtures.
• Maintain and organize work areas, tools, and storage.
• Coordinate and oversee external contractors when required.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls after hours or on weekends.
• Travel between multiple sites as needed.
