Job summary

Don Johnson Auto Group in Northwest Wisconsin is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to help maintain and improve our dealership facilities. This hands-on role covers carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, HVAC, and other building repairs, with travel between locations and coordination of outside contractors.

The successful candidate will be dependable, able to prioritize safety and urgency, and deliver quality work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, construction, property maintenance, or skilled trades.
• Able to troubleshoot and solve problems independently.
• Produce quality work and stay productive without constant supervision.
• Organize competing priorities and communicate changes.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Able to perform physical duties including lifting and ladder use.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete facility repairs and maintenance
• Perform general carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, lighting, doors, hardware, and other building repairs
• Complete preventive maintenance and identify problems before they become bigger issues
• Prioritize multiple requests based on safety, urgency, and business impact
• Complete projects independently from start to finish
• Travel between dealership locations as needs arise
• Coordinate outside contractors when specialized work is required
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas
• Communicate progress, changing timelines, and material needs
• Assist with facility improvements and seasonal maintenance
