Job summary

Minnesota Cannabis Services is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Coordinator to own ticket queues, perform in-house repairs, and dispatch licensed trades for cannabis facilities across stores, cultivation, and manufacturing. You’ll manage vendor programs, schedule preventive maintenance, and keep asset records to ensure safety and uptime.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in facilities maintenance, building operations, property management, or skilled trade.
• Sufficient knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and life safety to triage and evaluate vendor work.
• Hands-on repair ability with judgment for when licensing is required.
• Experience sourcing, scheduling, managing outside contractors.
• Comfort with ticketing or maintenance mgmt systems and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own the ticket queue for all facilities and maintenance requests across sites.
• Triage tickets by problem, system, and risk to product, crop, safety, compliance and revenue.
• Verify work is complete with photos and signer-off; reopen if needed.
• Perform routine repairs in-house and dispatch licensed trades for others.
• Scope work before dispatch to ensure correct parts, information and access.
• Manage vendor program, contracts, invoices, and warranty claims.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and asset register across sites.
• Support cultivation and manufacturing environments with urgent maintenance when needed.
