Job summary

Minnesota Cannabis Services is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Coordinator to own the maintenance ticket queue for all sites. You’ll perform in-house repairs, coordinate licensed trades, manage the vendor program, and work with the construction team to ensure new stores open with proper equipment documentation and scheduled maintenance.

Reporting to the Director of Construction and Facilities, you’ll prioritize tickets by risk to product, crops, safety, and compliance, and ensure timely, safe

Qualifications

• 3+ years in facilities maintenance, building operations, property management, or a skilled trade.
• Knowledge of commercial building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, fire and life safety) to triage/vendor work.
• Hands-on repair ability and judgment to know when a licensed trade is required.
• Experience sourcing, scheduling, and managing outside contractors.
• Familiarity with ticketing/maintenance systems and spreadsheets.
• Ability to manage multiple sites and communicate timing honestly.
• Minnesota driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Own the ticket queue as the single intake point for all facilities and maintenance requests across sites.
• Triage tickets to confirm problems, identify affected systems, and prioritize by risk to product, crop, safety, compliance, and revenue.
• Keep the ticket system accurate and inform requesters of status; close only after verification.
• Handle routine in-house repairs and scope work for vendors; coordinate access and timing.
• Run the vendor program: source, qualify, bid, negotiate, and track performance.
