Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead operations for two Long Beach leased facilities totaling ~260,000 sq ft. You will oversee maintenance, capital projects, space planning, occupancy planning, and vendor relationships to deliver an exceptional workplace experience.

You will partner with client stakeholders and internal teams to ensure safe, compliant and efficient facilities supporting business operations. A strong leadership track record is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience managing commercial facilities operations, maintenance, regulatory compliance and vendor oversight.
• Proven people leadership, supervision, coaching and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate facility repairs and maintenance with vendors and contractors.
• Maintain client relationships and conduct meetings on facility issues.
• Prepare and manage capital and operating projects.
• Manage budget development, implementation and monitoring.
• Perform facility inspections and identify efficiency or upgrade opportunities.
• Oversee environmental health and safety procedures.
• Review quotes and manage procurement of parts, services and labor.
• Provide training on maintenance, repairs and safety best practices.
• Supervise staff, oversee training and performance evaluations.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values to influence stakeholders.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve team and department goals.
• Identify and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex operational issues.
