Job summary

US Foods is seeking an Environment Health and Safety Manager to drive EHS risk reduction across assigned SC markets and Specialty locations. This role deploys center-developed tools, aligns local leadership to annual EHS tactics, and builds local capabilities for risk management.

The position requires 5–7 years of multi-site experience in manufacturing/foodservice, with strong regulatory knowledge and the ability to travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; CSP/CIH/PE a plus.
• 5–7 years multi-site experience in manufacturing, foodservice, or distribution.
• Experience with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Builds alignment across locations to implement center EHS initiatives on schedule.
• Explains EHS initiatives to site stakeholders to gain acceptance.
• Provides proactive EHS support to assigned Markets and Specialties sites.
• Coaches sites to ensure follow-through on EHS actions.
• Investigates EHS incidents and leads root-cause analyses as directed.
• Delivers EHS program audits and facilitates self-assessments.
• Tracks site-level EHS actions to ensure compliance and improvement.
• Onboards new leaders to EHS systems and processes.
