Job summary

A growing custom plastics manufacturer is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to lead safety and sustainability initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 8 years of EHS experience in manufacturing. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulations, conducting audits, and mentoring local contacts. This role requires 20–25% travel.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing with at least 5 years overseeing multiple sites.
• Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations.
• Experience in both union and non-union environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental, health, and safety initiatives across multi-site operations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state-specific regulations.
• Conduct audits, risk assessments, and tailored trainings.
