Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive operations, administrative, or financial management experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in a healthcare or medical institution setting.

Responsibilities

• Translates Surgical Services and organizational priorities into clear operational plans and departmental goals.
• Executes against strategic direction established by the Senior Director.
• Identifies operational risks, constraints, and improvement opportunities and escalates recommendations.
• Aligns departmental initiatives with organizational priorities and defined KPIs.
• Drives consistency and standardization of CSP practices across all locations.
• Implements sterilization and high-level disinfection practices in alignment with regulatory/accrediting bodies.
• Monitors compliance through audits, observations, and data review.
• Leads corrective action planning and ensures sustained adherence to standards.
• Recommends updates to policies, procedures, and standard work based on regulatory changes.
• Partners with Infection Prevention and Quality leadership to support patient safety and survey readiness.
• Establishes, monitors, and reports on operational KPIs aligned with priorities.
• Analyzes performance data to identify trends, risks, and gaps.
• Develops executive-level reporting for Senior Director review.
• Supports development of improvement plans and tracks execution.
• Uses data to anticipate service needs and inform decisions.
• Prepares and delivers updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Leads CSP leadership across locations, setting expectations and accountability.
• Oversees hiring, onboarding, performance management, and development.
• Ensures staff competency and regulatory alignment.
• Develops operating and capital budgets for Senior Director review.
• Monitors financials, resource utilization, and variances; provides recommendations.
• Supports staffing models to meet demand and service expectations.
• Serves as primary operational liaison with perioperative and clinical partners.
• Presents performance updates to committees and leadership forums.
• Drives timely resolution of complex service issues and escalations.
• Promotes a service-oriented culture focused on reliability.
