Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field is strongly preferred.
• Valid Sterile Processing Technician Certification by CBSPD or IAHCSMM, or other CSS related certification is required.
• 7 to 10 years of related experience with leadership experience required.
• Knowledge of business and management principles, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources.

Responsibilities

• Manages a large Central Sterile Services operation to maximize efficiency and responsiveness.
• Directs a multidisciplinary workforce ensuring compliance with accrediting, licensing, regulatory agencies, and Jackson Health System standards.
• Maintains working relationships across disciplines to ensure ethical service and customer rights.
• Hires, evaluates, disciplines, and terminates staff under policy guidelines.
• Fosters customer-service excellence by implementing system improvements in CSS.
• Oversees budgeting and resource use to meet department objectives and revenue goals.
