Job summary

Perry Homes, LLC is seeking a Phase II Construction Manager to oversee Field operations from lot release through hanging sheetrock and to conduct homeowner demonstrations. You will coordinate with independent contractors across multiple sites, select materials, and monitor quality and progress to ensure Perry Homes standards.

Key responsibilities include contractor management, materials planning, cost control, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with Perry Homes as Phase II Construction Manager.
• Current, valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Truck that complies with Perry Homes construction policies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with independent contractors and homeowners, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with short notice under extreme time constraints.
• Ability to read complex instructions, blueprints and development plans and write reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with independent contractors (45+ personnel across multiple jobsites).
• Decide which materials are needed and place orders.
• Monitor quantity and quality of materials and completed tasks.
• Ensure standards of quality as set by Perry Homes.
• Manage time under construction, supervise construction activities, control overhead costs, budget variances and change orders.
