Job summary

Perry Homes is seeking a Construction Project Manager to coordinate independent contractors across multiple jobsites and oversee material orders and quality control. The role emphasizes timely delivery, cost awareness, and adherence to Perry Homes standards.

The ideal candidate will have leadership experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to read blueprints and development plans. A relevant degree is preferred; a high school diploma is acceptable with experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with independent contractors and homeowners, both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, reports, blueprints and development plans.
• Proficient computer skills including MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
• Familiarity with Perry Homes policies and construction procedures.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; truck per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate independent contractors across multiple jobsites.
• Order construction materials and monitor quantity/quality.
• Ensure standards of quality per Perry Homes guidelines.
• Manage time under construction, oversee overhead costs, budget variances, and change orders.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager, VP Construction, or Division President.
