Job summary

Perry Homes is seeking a Construction Project Manager to coordinate multiple jobsites, manage material orders, and ensure quality standards across projects. You will oversee contractors, monitor budget variances and change orders, and support timely completion under tight schedules.

The role requires strong communication with homeowners and contractors, solid MS Office skills, knowledge of building codes, and a valid driver’s license. On-site work across job sites is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Requires relevant management or leadership experience.
• Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with independent contractors and homeowners, verbally and in writing; excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to complete tasks on short notice under extreme time constraints and manage multiple concurrent tasks.
• Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, reports, blueprints, construction plans, plats and development plans.
• Demonstrated computer skills including MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
• Current, valid Driver’s License and vehicle as required by Perry Homes policies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate independent contractors over multiple jobsites.
• Order construction materials.
• Monitor quantity and quality of materials and completed tasks.
• Ensure standards of quality as set forth by Perry Homes.
• Manage time under construction, supervise construction, control overhead costs, budget variances, and change orders.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by leadership.
