Job summary

Confidential Employer seeks a Senior Automation Program Manager to lead end-to-end automation initiatives across multiple U.S. manufacturing sites. The role covers opportunity identification, concept development, vendor selection, and capital planning to enable safe, high-quality, cost-efficient production.

You will drive cross-functional collaboration, develop standardized work, and oversee design validation and implementation, including travel across North America as needed.

Qualifications

• BSME/BSIE/BSEE degree and 10+ years in manufacturing engineering.
• 5+ years in program/project leadership roles.
• Certifications in PE, Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or relevant credentials preferred.
• Experience leading projects transforming traditional manufacturing to automation; willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation projects from concept to implementation across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Drive conceptual development, scope of work, vendor selection, and business case presentations.
• Define lean processes and collaborate with design, planning, and production teams for efficient implementation.
• Develop standard work, PFMEAs, and control plans to ensure quality and consistency.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation across sites.
