Job summary

JB Poindexter & Co., Inc. seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead multiple automation initiatives across North American manufacturing sites.

You will guide opportunities from concept, through vendor selection, to implementation, ensuring alignment with JBPCO standards and safety policies. The role requires coordinating with site-level engineers, operations leaders, and corporate stakeholders to optimize costs, safety, quality, and throughput while maintaining lean manufacturing principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree and 10+ years of related manufacturing engineering or advanced manufacturing experience.
• Proven ability to lead multi-site automation projects and drive measurable improvements.
• Experience with automation vendors and application across high-volume/complex environments.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving across functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation projects from concept to implementation across manufacturing sites.
• Develop scopes of work, justify and present business cases for CapEx.
• Coordinate with internal customers and external integrators for design reviews and FAT/SAT.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, resources, and documentation through completion.
• Drive standard work, PFMEAs, and control plans to ensure quality and consistency.
