Job summary

J.B. Poindexter & Co., Inc. is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead automation projects across North American manufacturing sites, from concept to implementation.

The role includes defining scope, building business cases, selecting vendors, validating designs, and launching solutions across welding, fiberglass, machine tending and assembly areas. The position requires broad cross-functional collaboration, development of capital proposals, adherence to Lean and safety standards, and mentoring

Qualifications

• BSME/BSIE/BSEE or equivalent required.
• Ten years or more in manufacturing engineering or advanced manufacturing.
• Minimum five years in program/project leadership.
• Preferred: PE/Lean Six Sigma/PMP or relevant credentials.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation projects from concept to implementation across sites.
• Define scopes, justify business cases, and select vendors/integrators.
• Design validation, ensure JBPCO standards, and launch solutions in multiple facilities.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder alignment for capital investments.
• Develop standardized work, PFMEAs, and control plans; mentor engineers.
