Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking an Area Manager to lead 6-8 schools in the Denver area, driving performance, safety, and quality standards across locations. You will develop leaders, manage budgets, and ensure an exceptional customer experience while traveling frequently between sites.

The role requires strong leadership, data-driven decisions, and the ability to coach school directors toward growth, enrollment, and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, business, retail management, operations, or related field preferred or equivalent management experience.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in a general manager or equivalent role.
• Demonstrated track record of achieving performance targets and improving KPIs.
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and people skills.
• Analytical mindset with data-driven decision making.
• Proficiency with MS Office and PowerBI preferred.
• Willingness to travel at least 75% of the time to school locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute area-wide business plans aligned to targets.
• Ensure achievement of performance targets with focus on growth, safety, and compliance.
• Collaborate with School Directors to drive performance and profitability.
• Cascade priorities to directors and ensure consistent execution.
• Drive revenue growth and monitor KPIs across the area.
• Identify opportunities and implement efficiency initiatives using data.
• Prepare and manage area budgets; monitor expenses.
• Review location financials and take corrective actions.
• Identify trends and lead continuous improvement across the area.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve escalations.
• Recruit, hire, coach, and develop school directors; conduct reviews.
• Foster a high-performance culture through training and succession planning.
