Job summary

ML Property Group seeks an Area Maintenance Manager to oversee service requests, preventative maintenance, and amenity area upkeep across portfolio communities. The role involves coordinating with community Service Managers and relocating between locations as needed, while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have five years of apartment maintenance experience, HVAC, CPO, and EPA credentials, with strong teamwork and on-site supervision abilities.

Qualifications

• Must have general knowledge of carpentry, electrical and plumbing, and safe tool use.
• Experience with maintenance work orders and basic computer tasks required.
• Ability to follow safety policies and OSHA/EPA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide range of apartment maintenance tasks across communities.
• Inspects make-ready repairs and coordinates services.
• Responds to resident service requests in a timely, professional manner.
• Maintains logs for maintenance, pool, HVAC, and other areas.
• On-call emergency service and after-hours response as needed.
• Maintains a clean, organized maintenance shop and inventories supplies.
