Job summary

DP World is seeking an experienced Operations Planner to manage planning, coordination, and delivery at the Palmetto, GA facility. You will oversee rate quotes for nonstandard transportation, order registration with special requirements, and ensure on-time pickups with traceability.

You will also resolve inventory discrepancies with customers, document process improvements, and support SOP development. Occasional travel to the warehouse may be required as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Customer service background in logistics required.
• Ability to handle problem resolution in timely manner.
• Experience with Excel for tracking and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide rate quotes for nonstandard transportation (expedite shipments).
• Perform order registration with special requirements, extra labor, forklifts, cranes, etc.
• Ensure on-time pickup and delivery, track and trace shipments.
• Apply late reason codes per Service Failure tracking and reporting.
• Work with customer to resolve inventory discrepancies and communicate findings.
• Participate in process flow documentation and SOPs; identify improvement opportunities.
