Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Coverage Specialist to support delivery routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable. You will learn multiple routes, deliver clean garments and products, and ensure exceptional customer service with accurate invoicing and inventory checks.

The role emphasizes safety, independence, and the ability to adapt to changing routes and schedules while collaborating with service and management teams.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• DOT compliance including a physical exam.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service.
• Strong customer service skills and delivery/route experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stay on your feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver garments and products to customers on assigned routes.
• Load, unload, and collect used garments for return.
• Maintain vehicle safety and appearance; manage invoices and inventories.
• Collaborate with service and management teams to support routes and installations.
• Provide excellent customer service and clear communication with customers.
