Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Coverage Specialist to support delivery routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable. You’ll load, transport, and return garments and products while delivering exceptional customer service.

This role emphasizes adaptability, accuracy in handling invoices and inventory, safety on the road, and collaboration with service and management teams to support new accounts and rerouting efforts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• DOT physical exam required.
• Experience in customer service or delivery is a plus.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Develop proficiency across multiple routes to provide top-tier service.
• Deliver garments and products to customers on established routes.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Resolve customer requests independently using problem-solving skills.
• Accurately manage invoices, conduct inventory audits, and keep vehicle safety/appearance.
• Follow traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies.
