Job summary

Simmons Foods, Inc. Fort Smith, AR is hiring for a production line position on our poultry processing line. You will work on a moving conveyor, packing, weighing and inspecting products to ensure quality and speed.

You may rotate between packer, scaler, styler and grader as needed, maintain line speeds, follow LEAN guidelines, and participate as a cooperative team member. Physical tasks include lifting up to 55 pounds and working in varied temperatures with PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Clear communication with team and leadership.
• Ability to make good decisions and communicate effectively.
• Experience in poultry or food processing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate on a moving conveyor belt and pack, weigh, and style product.
• Inspect, grade and remove product that does not meet standards.
• Collaborate with team to implement best practices and Lean objectives.
• Perform other duties as needed to support business objectives.
