Job summary

Simmons Foods is seeking to fill the Line 3 Pack out - NS position at our Fort Smith, AR facility. This on-site, full-time role involves packing, weighing, and sorting poultry products on a moving conveyor, with emphasis on quality and adherence to safety standards.

You will rotate through packer, scaler, styler and grader tasks, maintaining line speeds and following LEAN principles. Physical requirements include lifting up to 55 pounds and working in a cold, wet environment.

Qualifications

• Must have the ability to make good decisions and communicate effectively with others and leadership team.
• Industry experience in poultry or food processing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works on a moving conveyor belt using both hands.
• Spreads or styles product by hand on the belt.
• Performs multiple types of packing and weighing.
• Pulls bones from product; inspects, grades and removes product that does not meet standards.
• Participates as a member of the Team and supports team objectives.
