Job summary

Simmons Foods is hiring for FPT VBC - Line 5- Pack out - NS, an on-site hourly production role in Fort Smith, AR. You will rotate through packer, scaler, styler and grader, maintaining line speeds for the designated product and supporting quality standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to Simmons Operating systems, and active participation in continuous improvement within a busy poultry/food processing environment.

Qualifications

• Competencies: Communication skills & decision quality—ability to make good decisions and communicate effectively with others and leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Works on a moving conveyor belt using both hands.
• Spreads or styles product by hand on the belt.
• Performs multiple types of packing and weighing.
• Pulls bones from product; inspects, grades and removes product that does not meet standards.
• Participates as a member of the Team and supports lean programs and team initiatives.
