Job summary

Williams Hotel Group is seeking an experienced Area Maintenance Coordinator to support maintenance operations across nine hotels in the Valdosta area. This hands-on role involves traveling between properties to perform repairs and coordinate larger projects with general managers.

The ideal candidate has strong general maintenance skills across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, and painting, and can manage multiple tasks with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel, commercial, or general maintenance preferred.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and implement practical solutions.
• Comfortable traveling between multiple hotel properties.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication skills and collaboration with General Managers.

Responsibilities

• Travel between nine Williams Hotel Group properties to address maintenance needs.
• Perform hands-on maintenance, repairs, and improvements.
• Assist hotels when their regular maintenance staff is unavailable.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, and fixtures.
• Support preventive maintenance programs and identify issues early.
• Coordinate larger maintenance projects from start to finish, including materials and labor.
• Work with General Managers to prioritize projects and address property needs.
• Provide hands-on support during renovations and room refreshes.
• Assist with emergency maintenance across properties as needed.
• Maintain records of work and materials used.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and standards.
• Perform other maintenance duties and special projects as assigned.
