Job summary

Williams Hotel Group seeks a dependable Maintenance Specialist to join the La Quinta by Wyndham Valdosta team. The role covers guest rooms, common areas, and building systems to ensure a safe, clean environment for guests and staff.

You will perform routine maintenance, respond to requests, and conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances. Basic repairs and record-keeping are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel maintenance or general maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel and guest rooms.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and guest room issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and other hotel equipment.
• Inspect guest rooms and common areas to identify maintenance needs.
• Repair or replace fixtures, furniture, doors, locks, lighting, and other hotel components as needed.
• Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general building repairs.
• Maintain the hotel’s exterior areas and assist with grounds maintenance when needed.
• Keep accurate records of completed maintenance work.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized maintenance area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and report safety hazards immediately.
• Assist with emergency maintenance situations and other duties as assigned.
