Job summary

GPI Real Estate Management seeks a Property Assistant Manager to float across Southwest Houston apartment communities. You’ll assist onsite teams with leasing, renewals, rent collection, and day-to-day property operations.

The role thrives on variety and collaboration, with exposure to multiple properties, teams, and residents. Growth within property management is a key opportunity at GPI Real Estate Management.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in property management or leasing preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different teams and environments.
• Willingness to travel between properties in Southwest Houston.
• Familiarity with Yardi or similar software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist day-to-day operations across assigned properties.
• Greet prospects, conduct tours, and process applications.
• Manage resident relations including renewals and service requests.
• Collect rent, process payments, and assist with delinquencies.
• Maintain records in Yardi or similar software.
• Support property managers to meet operational and financial goals.
• Uphold company policies across communities.
