Job summary

GPI Management is seeking a Property Assistant Manager to provide support across multiple apartment communities in the Southwest Houston area. As a floater, you’ll assist onsite teams with leasing, resident relations, rent collection, renewals, and general property operations.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in different environments, enjoys variety, and can adapt quickly to changing needs. You’ll gain experience across diverse communities while building a foundation for future growth

Qualifications

• Proven experience in property management, leasing, or related customer service preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude.
• Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively with different teams and environments.
• Experience with Yardi or similar property management software is a plus.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between multiple properties within Southwest Houston.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operations across assigned properties.
• Support leasing efforts by greeting prospects, conducting tours, and processing applications.
• Handle resident relations, including renewals, service requests, and general inquiries.
• Collect rent, process payments, and assist with delinquencies as needed.
• Maintain accurate records in Yardi (or similar property management software).
• Partner with property managers to support operational and financial goals.
• Uphold company policies and standards at every community you support.
