Job summary

GPI Management is seeking an Assistant Property Manager in Irving, TX to support daily property operations and drive financial performance. You will assist with leasing, rent collection, resident relations, and coordination of maintenance while ensuring service excellence for residents and prospects.

The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and effective communication, with focus on delinquency management and adherence to eviction processes where applicable.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of property management or related experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, organization, and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and property management software.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily property operations and act in the Manager’s absence
• Collect rent, manage delinquency, and maintain accurate resident ledgers
• Perform leasing duties including tours and move-in/move-out inspections
• Respond to resident inquiries and resolve concerns professionally
• Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up for completion
• Attend eviction court and understand the eviction process (TAA compliant)
• Conduct daily property walks and inspect vacant units
