Job summary

Avion Hospitality is seeking an Area Director of Sales to lead sales and marketing for two Hyatt select-service hotels: Nashville Brentwood and Nashville/Opryland. You will strategize, prospect, negotiate, and drive occupancy across both properties.

You will work with General Managers, Revenue Management, and Hyatt partners to grow corporate, group, and transient business while managing budgets and forecasts. Travel between properties is required.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of progressive hotel sales experience preferred; or a four-year college degree and at least 2 years of related experience; or a two-year college degree and at least 4 years of related experience.
• Experience with select-service or multi-property hospitality environments is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between properties.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for two hotels aligned with revenue objectives.
• Identify new business opportunities and strengthen relationships with corporate accounts and local partners.
• Manage day-to-day sales activities across both properties including prospecting, follow-up, and contract negotiations.
• Develop sales forecasts, annual plans, and budgets.
• Collaborate with General Managers, Revenue Management, and Hyatt partners to optimize pricing and market positioning.
• Monitor sales performance and ensure adherence to budgets and standards.
