Waterford Hotel Group is seeking an Area Maintenance Manager to oversee engineering and maintenance across three boutique properties—the Rubenstein Hotel, Hotel Mazarin, and Hotel Le Marais. Qualifications

• Five years experience as a Chief Engineer or facilities engineer in a hospitality environment.
• Extensive knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and safety operating systems.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
• Pass a thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee engineering and maintenance operations across three boutique hotel properties.
• Ensure that each property is safe, fully operational, and maintained to brand, ownership, and regulatory standards.
• Balance strategic planning with hands-on leadership and preventive maintenance programs.
• Oversee budgets, preventive maintenance initiatives, and energy conservation efforts, while directing and coordinating all engineering activities.
• Train, mentor, schedule, and develop engineering team members, manage third-party vendors, and ensure consistent maintenance standards across the portfolio.
