Job summary
Waterford Hotel Group is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to oversee routine maintenance across our properties, ensuring safety, reliability, and guest comfort.
The role requires hands-on maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, preventive tasks, and clear communication with guests and team members to uphold high service standards. You will report to the Chief Engineer and collaborate with a diverse team to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in building maintenance or hospitality maintenance is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to communicate clearly with guests and staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repair tasks across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and other systems.
- Monitor building systems and ensure safety and compliance with policies.
- Address maintenance service requests promptly and professionally.
- Maintain professional interactions with guests, vendors, and colleagues.
- Assist with grounds work and snow removal as directed.
