Job summary

Waterford Hotel Group is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to supervise property maintenance, ensuring guest safety and comfort through proactive repairs and preventive care. You will perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and grounds tasks while coordinating with the Chief Engineer and other teams.

The role rewards proactive problem solving, strong teamwork, and the ability to work independently to keep our properties fully functional and welcoming for guests.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs including HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, lighting, furniture, sheetrock, and painting.
• Monitor and maintain building systems as assigned.
• Complete maintenance service requests as assigned.
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner with guests, vendors, contractors, and employees.
• Complete grounds work as directed by Chief Engineer.
• Alert the General Manager of unusual occurrences or damages.
• Ensure safety standards comply with company, local, city, state, and federal guidelines.
• Respond promptly to guest and colleague maintenance issues; keep task records and communicate clearly.
• Conduct minor maintenance (electrical, plumbing, painting, caulking).
• Snow removal as required.
