Job summary

Waterford Hotel Group is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support property upkeep and guest safety. The role requires initiative, strong work ethic, and interpersonal skills to keep all systems functional and guests comfortable.

You will perform preventive maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and more, respond to service requests, and uphold safety standards while delivering courteous service to guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair duties, including HVAC, refrigeration systems, plumbing, lighting, furniture, sheetrock, and painting.
• Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned.
• Responsible for completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned.
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner with guests, vendors, contractors, and employees.
• Complete grounds work as directed by Chief Engineer.
• Alert General Manager of any unusual occurrence or damage.
• Ensure safety standards comply with company and regulatory guidelines.
• Respond to maintenance issues in a timely fashion and document tasks clearly.
• Minor Maintenance (Electrical, Plumbing, painting, caulking).
• Snow Removal (Must be able to shovel snow).
