Job summary

Buffalo Lodging Associates seeks a Hotel Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance across MA and RI properties. The role requires open availability, weekend shifts, and emergency on-call coverage.

The incumbent will supervise staff, manage vendor quality, and support renovations while ensuring safety and guest satisfaction across multiple hotels. Qualifications

• Three+ years supervisory or lead mechanic experience in a hotel or related field.
• General mechanical skills are necessary.
• Basic repair, painting, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler operation, pool maintenance and general maintenance are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on laundry equipment, HVAC units, ice machines, fire safety systems, lawn care and equipment.
• Maintain work order boards and communicate status to guests/departments.
• Evaluate and select reliable vendors for value and quality.
• Assist during renovations and special projects.
• Supervise on-site Maintenance Assistant including hiring, training and performance management.
• Manage on-site operations and respond to emergencies on-call.
