Job summary

Grand Williston Hotel & Convention Center, part of Aimbridge Hospitality, is seeking an Area Engineer to manage maintenance across properties, address work orders, and support daily operations. You will handle carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and other hands‑on tasks to keep facilities safe and efficient.

You will drive safety, coordinate scheduling, train staff, and ensure preventative maintenance while delivering outstanding guest service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed in a trade preferred (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).
• Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Driving Record (property specific).
• Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly, work well under pressure, and handle workplace problems effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel maintenance across properties, handle repairs and hands‑on tasks.
• Address work orders and guest requests promptly to maintain high service levels.
• Lead and support the Engineering team, coordinate schedules, train staff.
• Ensure preventative maintenance and safety standards are followed at all times.
• Maintain a polished appearance and reflect brand professionalism in all interactions.
