Job summary

GF Hotels & Resorts in Milwaukee seeks a Maintenance Engineer to oversee the property's maintenance, safety, and reliability, ensuring a five-star guest experience through proactive upkeep and rapid response to issues.

You will coordinate with managers and staff, implement preventative maintenance plans, and keep equipment and facilities in top condition while adhering to engineering safety rules.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Strong organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of computer software; preferably facilities management software.

Responsibilities

• Create an available channel of communication between you and other staff, including managers and department heads.
• Maintain all of the hotel's equipment and preventative maintenance plans.
• React to emergencies that happen before, during, and after your regular work shifts.
• Observe all engineering safety rules and criteria.
• Assist other technicians and engineers with a variety of maintenance tasks in a collaborative manner.
