Job summary

Bell Partners is seeking a General Manager to lead a multi-property apartment portfolio. You will oversee staff, resident satisfaction, and financial performance, ensuring optimal returns for investors.

The role requires directing operations, budgeting, market analysis, and strategic partnerships to maintain asset value. Ideal candidates have a BA/BS in a related field and at least 3 years of multi-state experience with a 1,500+ unit portfolio, plus strong knowledge of Fair Housing laws and

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business, Hospitality, Property Management or related field.
• At least 3 years of multi-state apartment experience with a portfolio of 1,500+ units across 4+ properties.
• Knowledge of tenant and eviction laws, and Fair Housing Laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and control all facets of the community to ensure quality services and high customer satisfaction within budget.
• Generate income by leading the sales team, monitoring market conditions, budgeting, attracting and retaining residents with superior service.
• Hire, manage, and develop associates to ensure community performance and adequate staffing.
• Coordinate with owner/investment partners to maintain and improve asset value.
• Oversee annual budget process and conduct monthly leadership meetings.
• Review financial operations and variance explanations monthly.
• Develop market pricing strategies with Leasing Manager aligned to market and goals.
• Plan and execute marketing strategies with Leasing Staff and Corporate Marketing.
• Obtain bids for contract services and oversee capital projects.
• Maintain physical assets via weekly property inspections.
