Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of a housing community under Regional Manager supervision. You will manage staff, leasing, maintenance, administration, and risk management on-site, ensuring safety, compliance, and resident satisfaction.

Key duties include supervising staff, developing budgets, coordinating leasing strategies, and maintaining excellent customer service while upholding fair housing guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all site operations including staffing, leasing, maintenance, and administration.
• Ensure compliance with Asset Living policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.
• Develop and monitor annual operating budgets and forecasts.
• Lead on-site staff through training, coaching, and performance management.
• Manage leasing, customer service, and resident relations to achieve retention.
