Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee operations of a housing community on-site under the Regional Manager. You will supervise staff across leasing, maintenance, administration and risk management to ensure compliance with policies, safety and fair housing guidelines.

The role requires on-site leadership, daily attendance, and strong budgeting, marketing and resident service skills. Benefits and total rewards are part of the package for a full-time employee.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations of a housing community on-site under Regional Manager.
• Supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, administration & risk management.
• Develop and manage staff schedules and assignments.
• Monitor deposits, rent collections and charges; ensure timely submissions.
• Lead emergency team for the property and ensure safety compliance.
• Plan yearly operating budgets/forecasts and marketing plans.
