Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts, overseeing the Marriott Oceanfront and Embassy Suites properties, seeks a Banquet Supervisor to oversee banquet operations, ensure exemplary service, and coordinate with hosts during events.

You’ll supervise staff, assist with hiring/training, manage on-floor operations, review BEOs, and help with billing and payroll while supporting high-volume events with a hands-on approach.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or lead experience in banquet operations preferred.
• Knowledge of hotel banquet/catering services and operations.
• Ability to handle basic banquet math and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise banquet associates across dual-property operations to ensure service standards.
• Oversee daily on-the-floor operations, setups, and service per SOPs and BEOs.
• Meet with event hosts on-site to review changes and ensure smooth execution.
• Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Assist with billing, payroll submission, and daily service charges.
• Maintain equipment, cleanliness, and safety across banquet spaces.
• Provide hands-on support during high-volume events as needed.
