Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Assistant Banquet Manager to help supervise banquet operations across Marriott Oceanfront and Embassy Suites properties in Virginia Beach. This role involves coordinating staff, reviewing BEOs with clients, and ensuring flawless event execution.

Qualifications

• Post-high school education or degree preferred.
• Minimum 1+ years of supervisor or lead experience in hospitality banquet operations, catering, or food & beverage management.
• Dual-property or hotel banquet management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with supervising and directing Banquet associates across dual-property operations.
• Oversee on-the-floor operations, setups, food & beverage preparation, and service in accordance with SOPs and BEOs.
• Meet with event hosts on-site to review BEOs, accommodate changes, and ensure smooth event execution.
