Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Performs a variety of specialized technical tasks associated with the operation of MRI and other imaging modalities in an outpatient setting to assist the radiologist in the detection of anatomical abnormalities, or with general and peripheral vascular ultrasound, Echo, or sonography modalities. The technologist is primarily responsible for daily operations of the outpatient MRI section, patient scheduling, equipment maintenance, reporting equipment failures, and quality assessment (QA). Maintains high medical ethics standards and seeks to increase knowledge of the field, diseases, and new procedures.
