Overview

As our Multi Modality Technologist at CHI St. Vincent, you will help capture usable diagnostic images from patients so the Radiologist can accurately diagnose and/or rule out different conditions.

Every day, you could perform various imaging examinations such as x-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs. You will also work directly with patients, playing a vital role in their experience.

To succeed, you must understand the importance of diagnostic imaging, including knowledge of imaging workflows, patient positioning techniques, and capturing precise results for accurate diagnosis.

Responsibilities

• Obtain pertinent medical history from patients through observation or communication.
• Use patient assessment and history to support care plans and document findings.
• Communicate clearly with patients of all ages, colleagues, and others to complete care plans.
• Provide appropriate patient care during radiologic procedures.
• Assist Radiologists within the scope of practice as directed.
• Participate in student clinical competency evaluations, including weekly assessments and performance observations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology, Military, or ultrasound program (JRCERT accredited).
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Licensed in Arkansas.
• Active BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Pay Range

$29.75 - $43.13/hour
