Job summary

WTVO-Tv/WQRF-Tv in Rockford, IL is expanding its sales team with a focus on broadcast and digital platforms. The Account Executive will negotiate with ad agencies, grow a transactional book of business, and manage orders, contracts, and collections.

The role requires capability to talk with decision makers, close deals, and leverage social media for campaigns. Flexible schedule and strong benefits are offered.

Special Duties:

• Experience in negotiating with ad agencies
• Grow a transactional book of business through strategic pricing and outstanding account stewardship
• Responsible for order entry, contracts, follow-up and collections
• Strong at prospecting and growing account list
• Play a role in the production of client’s creative elements
• Be an advocate for our products and programs, both broadcast and digital platforms
• Be a person: treat coworkers, prospects and clients with a service-centric attitude

• Broadcast sales experience is a must
