Job summary

CBS News and Stations is seeking an Account Executive for Local Ad Sales to drive new business across multiple markets and platforms. You will sell CBS O&O broadcast, Paramount+ and Pluto TV inventory, building direct client and agency relationships and managing a robust pipeline.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in local media sales, strong prospecting, and proven revenue achievement. This role offers a blend of on-site and virtual engagement with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of local broadcast or multi-platform media advertising sales with a track record of meeting revenue goals.
• You prospect, pitch, and close; you don’t wait for business to come to you.
• Strong consultative selling and ability to build lasting client partnerships.
• Experience with ad agencies and direct clients; excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Hunt for new business across local, regional, and national categories.
• Sell across CBS O&O, Paramount+ and Pluto TV in integrated pitches.
• Leverage the 17-market CBS O&O footprint to provide multi-market solutions.
• Develop direct client and agency relationships and own your pipeline.
• Package custom solutions (tentpole programs, sports, streaming) aligned to business goals.
• Manage quarterly and annual account plans and forecast revenue goals.
