Job summary

Packer City International Trucks, Inc. seeks a Service Director to lead our service departments across five locations in Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

The role emphasizes team development, operational improvements, and building strong customer relationships. Responsibilities include growing profitability, ensuring policy compliance with International, Isuzu and other vendors, reviewing warranty performance, and maintaining safe, productive work environments.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of service management experience required; Service Director experience preferred.
• Travel approximately 40–50% among locations in Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
• CDL preferred; valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead the growth, performance, and profitability of the service departments at all five locations.
• Ensure compliance with International, Isuzu, and other vendor policies, warranty procedures, and manufacturer standards.
• Review warranty performance, including debits outstanding >30 days, and coordinate with Service Managers to resolve items.
• Stay current on vendor updates, warranty policies, and product changes; attend annual service meeting.
• Ensure service operations comply with OSHA, EPA, and local requirements; maintain safe work environments.
• Hold monthly meetings with Service Managers and conduct annual performance reviews.
• Attend dealership staff meetings as required.
• Identify and secure new service business.
