Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to support both wholesale and retail customers in our Florida stores. You will determine customer needs, recommend the right Sherwin-Williams products, and resolve concerns to maximize client satisfaction, while contributing to store sales goals.

The role requires strong product knowledge, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexibility to work evenings/weekends. Prior paint or retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends as required.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employee must have a satisfactory performance rating.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting products.
• Build trust with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and in line with policies.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain accurate work order files and product formulas.
• Pull products from floor or warehouse and tint/mix to specs.
• Stock shelves and set up displays; clean store equipment.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and assist with deliveries as needed.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition in assigned areas.
• Remain knowledgeable on products and discuss options with customers.
• Comply with inventory control procedures; suggest sales improvements.
